Matte boxes are outrageously expensive for DSLR rigs and yet they are so important to use.
The cheapest matte-boxes start at a price of $300 and range up to many thousands.
I found a cheap alternative on eBay for under $10 for a filter holder, lens adapter ring and a nd filter.
